Hey y'all. How are things with you? My second surgery is done. It went well. The anesthesia was worse this time, I was sick for a couple hours after and had trouble getting my breath as I was coming out of it. Home resting now. I slept 12 hours straight when I got home I got up for about 2 hours and went back to bed for another 10 hours! I think the worst is over. Now I just have to wait for the pathology to come back... Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Hey y'all How are you today? Rainy and grey here today. I had surgery yesterday so I am taking it slower and easier than usual today. There is a ton I need to do, but not today. I don't handle anesthesia well, so between the drugs for the anesthesia, pain and nausea. I was knocked for a loop. I have another surgery next week! Wish me luck.

It is snowing on my birthday ;) It almost always snows on February 24  Sometimes only a flurry Sometimes a blizzard Sometimes a dusting This year an inch...so far It will not last long, we do not stay cold here our winters are mild as are the temps. I love it when it snows...on my birthday. Happy 42nd Birthday to me.

Hey Y'all are you ready for your Valentine? I am working so as usual we will not do anything, Lee bless his heart is just awful at Valentines, my Birthday which is 10 days after Valentines and our Anniversary, Christmas he is usually OK at(...because he gets a list ha ha) he just doesn't get it. Those events largely go unnoticed by him, not that I want tons of gifts or anything, just make an effort, make it special...oh well almost 19 years married, lol I do not anticipate a change! All that being said there are a few very sweet bloggers that do get me and I love to swap with them! Chris at A Little Creation  is one of the ladies that really knows what I love! Hey y'all How are things with you today? Ok here. So yesterday the ladies in the family got together and had a ladies tea. We like to treat ourselves on occasion and after spending a lot at a few different tea rooms over the years we decided to do our own and we are great at it lol. Of course I don't have a single photo of it! Sheesh we were enjoying ourselves too much. I did spend some aunt Jenny time with all 4 of my little loves and these two wanted to take selfies so here I am with Shelby and Layden.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hey y'all how was your Christmas? Ours was nice it felt a little more like normal this year. I worked a ton, so for me it was rushed and I never did feel the Christmas spirit or the magic of the season that I crave. Oh well maybe this year... I did a couple of one on one swaps for  Christmas. First up is my swap with Marci  this was her first swap and I am so glad she decided to swap with me! I hope it is the first of many for her. Here is what miss MJ sent me, she made me feel so cared about! Love ya Marci! I love the ornaments, I use the C7 bulbs on my tree inside and the C9 bulbs outside, it is just not  Christmas without them, so the big bulb is perfect, the sleigh speaks to my love of things of old, the mug is my new favorite!
