Ho Ho Ho **Gift for you

Merry Christmas Y'all.
Yes I say Merry Christmas!
I keep Christ in  Christmas because it matters to me.
I was at a craft show recently and at one of the booth's I wished the vendor a Merry Christmas, he said Thank You and then said "I don't say anything anymore, you never know what people believe and I don't want to offend anyone" OK I get that, he is a businessman....however;  I replied...."I say Merry Christmas because it is what I believe" he said huh... I have never thought of it that way before...
I work for the "worlds largest retailer" and I say Merry Christmas all season long, In all of the 23 years I have worked in retail, no one has ever said "don't say that to me" actually most people are kind of surprised to hear it if I judge by the look on their faces and most reply Merry Christmas to you too.
So try it on for size, the next time you are out, wish the people in your path a Merry Christmas, I bet it will make you and the person you wish it to both smile and feel great!
Now for a tiny little gift for you, to make you smile, I have to rave about and share a new product I found.

OH MY STARS ARE THEY YUMMY!
THEY HAVE MINI MARSHMALLOWS BAKED RIGHT IN AND A

They really taste like hot chocolate too!

I have a box to send to you, along with some cupcake liners.

  1. Merry Christmas, Jenny! I have never been able to understand why people cannot just give the greeting they believe in. I would love to hear someone wish me "Happy Hanukkah!" just so I could return the greeting with the respect it deserves. Thank you for keeping Christ in Christmas!

  8. I am a Merry Christmas girl too! I don't get why people get so offended by that. I would not be offended in the least if someone wished me a Happy Hanukah or Happy Kwanza. Those cupcakes look yummy and I love me some cupcakes!

    Blessings

  9. I say Merry Christmas too! I could never get anybody to say it back in Vegas. It's better here. In fact all of the McDonalds here have Nativities set up in front. I love it!

    Those cupcakes look delish!

  11. Although it is probably more politically correct I usually say Merry Christmas too...but sometimes a Happy Holiday sneaks in. (-:

Thank you for visiting me and leaving a comment on my snowmen, I look forward to seeing a post about yours in January!

  13. Merry Christmas!

I found you through Pink Saturday! We British are a heathen lot, but we say Merry Christmas (Mostly. Apparently the Queen says 'Happy Christmas' because 'merry' has the added connotation of being drunk and it's not polite to go around suggesting people are drunk) and dismiss 'Happy Holidays' as an American fad (and a 'holiday' is a vacation, so it just sounds wrong)

    Hot chocolate cupcakes! Genius!

  15. Hi Jenny, I too say Merry Christmas. That is what the season is all about. I never did understand why they felt people needed to say Happy Holidays. On Leno the other night he said that the mayor of R.I. had named their Christmas tree the holiday tree because he didn't want to offend anyone. 95 percent of the people were furious. I haven't seen this new product. Sounds quite tasty. Happy to be a new follower. And oh, by the way; Merry Christmas!
    Hugs,
    Jann

  16. Cute cute background! Love it. Enjoyed your post. I was just thinking about saying "Merry Christmas" and appreciate what you have to say about it. For me sometimes it just feels so commercial to say it. Maybe that's why I went w/Joyeux Noel on my FB header? Anyway, I really do appreciate your thoughts and sharing them. Thank you!
