Knitting and friends

The other day my mailbox was full of happy mail.
I got a letter  from my dear friend Angela her blog is Down To the Darling Details we actually write real letters back and forth.  I love her Faith and her kind heart.
AND
I got a package from my Lucy though you may know her as Julie at Ric Rac and Polka Dots She sent me 2 of her knitted dish cloths.
  Loads of happiness sent by friends I have met through my blog.

I have been trying to teach myself  to knit. It is supposed to be so easy, yet I only make a mess of it! Grrr...one day I will get it. In the meantime I have Julies gift to get me through :)

    PS-I don't know what it is about that glass of tea on your header but it's like instant thirst every time I stop by. LOVE IT!

    Hi there friend - sounds like you've been practicing a little giving and receiving which is so nice! I'm not the only one blessed with your friendshipe and letters :) BTW I have not received a letter yet? I know you said it was in the mail - no rush - just making sure it's not lost! :)

Hey Y'all how are ya today? Doing ok  in Virginia today. We got to have dinner with the Squirt and the Chickie Baby and their parents tonight, which is a treat for us. Merry Christmas Y'all. Yes I say Merry Christmas! I keep Christ in  Christmas because it matters to me. I was at a craft show recently and at one of the booth's I wished the vendor a Merry Christmas, he said Thank You and then said "I don't say anything anymore, you never know what people believe and I don't want to offend anyone" OK I get that, he is a businessman....however;  I replied...."I say Merry Christmas because it is what I believe" he said huh... I have never thought of it that way before...
