...So this year...

Hey y'all.
How are you today?
I hope everyone is warm, cozy, and happy today.
I am not a new year resolution type of gal.
However there are things that I want to do or change.
One of them are friendships.
I want to be a better friend.
I want to be more kind to the friends I have and I want to stay in touch more.
So to kick off the year I just put a few letters in the mailbox.

I love writing letters. I wish there was a way to make a living doing it.
I get such a good feeling writing a few lines on paper and sending them along.
I hope to write a few every month.
Not a major change but one I want to make.

  3. I feel the same way! I tend be a home body and not really stay in contact with people, even neglected my blog friends for months...
    Have a great day! Hugs.

  6. This is a great resolution, Jenny! I love to hear that there are still people who like to write and receive actual letters. I wrote so many thank yous this year and it felt good to put into word what people's gifts meant to me. A text message or voice mail is just not going to do it.
    Happy Writing!
    xoxo

(I'm trying to stop and comment more...I know how much it means to me when folks say Hi! So often it's easy to read someone's blog post and then dash off without letting the blogger know you've stopped by. I'm working on that!)

  8. I remember I used to have 3-4 pen pals from all over and I would love to write them letters and get ones in return. Letter writing is definitely an art that is fading away.
