I Won!

Did you participate in
Photobucket

or visit blogs that did?

Well I did, I saw this little button and it made me smile,
I LOVE the movie and it has been so HOT snow and Christmas made me feel cooler...kinda.

We had the best hostess in Marcia,
she and I are going to be great friends,

We both feel God has blessed us "meeting" through her blog,

I had a great time visiting the other participants blogs
Yesterday I found out I was the winner of her Giveaway!

YAY I am so excited!!!

But I feel I have won in more ways than one, as some of you know I have been struggling a great deal with a lot of issues and I have felt...distant...from my God ...and others as well, I have barely been able to pray.
I thank God for those of you that are praying for me, I can not put into words how you bless me.
I think God led Marcia and I together through this event and she has blessed me greatly with her wonderful spirit and words. I think I can see a glimmer of light at the end of that tunnel.....

  2. Aw Ethel, I'm so glad you won. What did you win? Tell us, tell us?
I received your note. It was so sweet, I was so touched to know you actually sat down and hand wrote a note. I have it sitting in my sewing room right next to my machine where I can look at it all the time. I have been going a little crazy here with all the county fair projects and garden and family stuff. I'm still praying for you and hoping you are moving in the right direction. It sounds like you are, and I am happy to hear that my friend. You take care and stay out of trouble, please!!!! I have enough to worry about without thinking of what you might come up with. I think of you every day when I watch my Lucy and Ethel reruns. I hope the weather is cooperating a bit, we have had a heat wave here too. Yuk. Thanking God for air conditioning every day. Hang in there, thinking positive thoughts for you!

  3. Congratulations! How exciting and timely for you too.

Thanks for stopping by my Christmas blog during the Christmas in July party and for leaving such a sweet comment. It's lovely to meet you and I hope you'll be by again soon!

    Best wishes and happy weekend,
    Natasha.

  4. Oh Jenny, Your blog header takes me home! Ice tea in the summer, sigh. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I am just heart broken that my daughters new family will not be one that will join with my own to make a larger one. Their religion will not allow for it. Anyway, I do hope you find a way back to your prayers. These seem to be such trying times for so many of our blogging friends. I think we may have to just rest awhile in our sadness as God is so busy these days. Take care, Elizabeth
