Missing

Today I am missing folks. I love so many people that I hardly ever get to see or talk to and I miss them all. My sister in law Angela, she and I connected so quickly and I have only been with her a few days once almost 4 years ago, I miss her all the time and my nieces and my nephew, I love them all! My Brothers in law and my mother and faither in law, they all mean so much to us and the relationships are...well they just aren't there and it makes me so sad, and my heart aches for them. My family is so close and Lee's is so distant, I tried for years to keep us all connected, I failed so it is what it is BUT  I love them all so much! I think I'll get off the computer and make a few calls.
I keep trying.....

Merry Christmas Y'all. Yes I say Merry Christmas! I keep Christ in  Christmas because it matters to me. I was at a craft show recently and at one of the booth's I wished the vendor a Merry Christmas, he said Thank You and then said "I don't say anything anymore, you never know what people believe and I don't want to offend anyone" OK I get that, he is a businessman....however;  I replied...."I say Merry Christmas because it is what I believe" he said huh... I have never thought of it that way before... I work for the "worlds largest retailer" and I say Merry Christmas all season long, In all of the 23 years I have worked in retail, no one has ever said "don't say that to me" actually most people are kind of surprised to hear it if I judge by the look on their faces and most reply Merry Christmas to you too.
