Supporting My Family **Updated**

My oh so georgeous sister in love Amanda

is now a Scentsy consultant, she has been looking for a home based business so she can stay home with Layden, the bank she works for has been HORRIBLE to her since she got pregnant last year and since she went back from maternity leave; it has been an even more hostile enviroment for her (It's REALLY BAD ) so we are supporting her as much as we can. If you are in need of any of their WONDERFUL products please let me know and I can get you in touch with her, also I copied her fb page post about her launch party so here is some of the info as well.
"Had a great Scentsy Lanch Party this afternoon. If you weren't able to make it and were still interested in the products, please visit my website at www.amandablanchard.scentsy.us and use the link under open parties to make purchases.  Feel free to e-mail me with any questions or concerns. I will keep my party open until Wednesday (June 15th) evening."
I had to work and couldn't be there so I ordered from her website.
We love you Amanda and wish God's blessings over this new venture.

****OK I have never used Scentsy products and I was unable to attend her Launch party because of work so I ordered via Amanda's website on Tuesday, I got my order at 1:15 Friday! I am so impressed, I really didn't think I'd see it for another week at least, and their packaging was great, the wax was shipped in an insulated bag WITH ICE PACKS to keep the wax from melting, and it is HOT here today. The warmer was packaged well and I am already using it, I have the Peach A la Mode (3 little bars off the brick) warming and it smells so good. I am impressed with this company****
I am in no way being compensated for this post, I just really want to support my sister and I am thrilled with the service they have given.

  1. I love Scentsy! Thanks for the link. I haven't read Water for Elephants. Thanks for the tip! :)

  2. Beautiful baby! Don't think I've heard of these products so I'll check it out! BTW-the cupcake lotion came from Waldens book store!

  3. Ethyl,
Thank you so much for the nice comments. Ok, I'll make a deal with you. After the posts about making a washcloth, if you still can't do it I'll send you a couple, ok? But I really hope you try to learn to do it. It is seriously therapy. You know, I think I am going to put some in my Etsy shop. Thanks for the idea. I really wouldn't make any money on them, not sure how much people would be willing to pay for one. It takes around two hours to knit it, but people wouldn't probably want to pay too much. Let me know what you think for a price. It would be fun to see how many people buy them. See, Lucy and Ethyl have come up with yet another hair-brained scheme. I just watched the rerun with Ricky thinking he was going bald the other night and Lucy giving him scalp treatments. I was laying on the couch knitting when I should have been in bed sleeping. I was laughing right out loud. I actually even snorted. I would have been embarrassing if anyone was around!! :)

  4. Well rats, now I see that you spell Ethel differently from me. All this time I have been spelling it Ethyl. As a former transcriptionist spelling is my "thing", so I Googled and it looks like Ethel is the way it is usually spelled. Do you know what this means? Every time I go out to the chicken coop and see Ethyl written inside (I have all the names of the chickens painted on their wall) I will know it is wrong and it will bug me! Actually, the fact that I have a chickens named Lucy and Ethel and many more, and that their names are painted on the wall is concerning enough . . . .

  5. Well you are cracking me up! I just read your comment on my blog. Ok then, I'll stick with Ethyl! Seriously, for the washcloths I would have to get something for my time, I'll look on Etsy and see what people are charging! I think people will really enjoy making them though. I hope so!
