Pink Saturday

Hey there all my fellow pinkies, how was your week?
For my post I picked my miniature depression glass from Mosser Glass. My Mom ordered these for me years ago. I have 6 or 7 different sets this is set #2, I'll share the rest over time I am sure. The pattern is called Jennifer and is available in a bunch of colors, for me she chose the pink! She knows  I have a small collection of Pink depression glass. So these are a great compliment. I don't really have a spot to display them so they stay safe in their boxes for now, one day I want a little curio just for them. I am taking these photos in the dead of knight so they are not lit well.

    I collect pink Depression Glass but I've never seen miniature pieces. This set is so sweet...what a thoughtful Mom!

    Jenny - these are so sweet and extra special as your Mom gave them to you! I love pink depression glass and for some reason I don't own any.

    Hi Jenny,
    I have a friend that started collecting depression glass over 30 years ago. She got most of her pieces through garage sales and has a huge collection today. I wish I had listened to her when she began collecting. I only have a few pieces that were given to me by my grandmother.
    I have never seen or heard of minis. Wow, that is beautiful. I will have to keep my eyes open, but I have yet to see anything like that.

Hey Y'all how are ya today? Doing ok  in Virginia today. We got to have dinner with the Squirt and the Chickie Baby and their parents tonight, which is a treat for us. I love my little's and their folks and love spending time with them. Lee went too, which is very rare for him, he was having a pretty good day today and went with me. Merry Christmas Y'all. Yes I say Merry Christmas! I keep Christ in  Christmas because it matters to me. I was at a craft show recently and at one of the booth's I wished the vendor a Merry Christmas, he said Thank You and then said "I don't say anything anymore, you never know what people believe and I don't want to offend anyone" OK I get that, he is a businessman....however;  I replied...."I say Merry Christmas because it is what I believe" he said huh... I have never thought of it that way before...
