Pink Saturday

 I LOVE cupcakes!
Cup cakes are the perfect food I think. They always leave you happy.
Aren't these adorable and oh my don't they look yummy!
My friend Cee made these for her grand-nephews birthday, they are Black Forrest Cupcakes. (The only reason they are pink is because she ran out of red food coloring...teehee)
She is so talented and such a good friend and she is such a good cook too. I wish I lived closer to her.
She inspired me to make chocolate cherry brownies mmmm they were so good.

    I make these often, but I'll tell you what I do to make them different & even better, not that yours aren't fabulous ...

    I use the marachino cherry juice for the cake mix rather than the water/liquid called for on the box, I chop up a bunch of cherries & toss them in the cake mix, then bake. Give it a try, you'll love how moist & delicious they are. Let me know what you think ...

Hey Y'all how are ya today? Doing ok  in Virginia today. We got to have dinner with the Squirt and the Chickie Baby and their parents tonight, which is a treat for us. I love my little's and their folks and love spending time with them. Lee went too, which is very rare for him, he was having a pretty good day today and went with me. My Sweet Blog Sis

In September I got the sweetest package from my secret blogging sister. She sent me the perfect gift. CUPCAKES!! For those who may not know I have an addiction to cupcakes and cupcake collectibles. Don't cupcakes make you happy? Every time I see a cupcake it just makes me happy. I smile every time I see one. So this sweet mix of one of my favorite flavors made my day. This was the yummy result after my neighbors son helped me ice them...lol He just had to help and I was glad to let him. They may not be pretty, but they were so good! Thanks Secret Sis.
